Francis small heritage trust now owns the land and has made a nice half mile trail to the summit. There is also a sign at the abandoned house saying it’s going to be an educational resource center.Ledge views are wonderful and Devils Den is a sight to see…. Be careful around that! Very steep!!!! Very interesting too. There is a privy out back and an old gravesite…..Dating back to the 1700 & 1800’s. Magnificent view of Mt Washington and the Presidentials from the cabin. Great place. |
