Comments
Comments: Hodgepodge of shoulder season conditions, made a little sloppy from an inch or two of new snow overnight that was melting in the 40ish degree temperatures and partial morning sunshine. A few pockets of foot deep snow up high, but not prolonged enough to justify snowshoes. Some stretches of ice monorail, and a few areas of blue ice. Some stretches of wet trail and mud. Managed to bareboot to the summit, but needed spikes to descend. Nice directional views from the summit ledges, ranging from Mt. Abram to some of the iced over ponds to the east.
