 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Writing this to make a PSA that Caribou Pond Rd is a groomed snowmobile trail, all of it. You may park 2-3 cars at the start on 27 but should not drive it as witnessed today by a Silverado who carelessly destroyed the freshly groomed trail “not realizing” it was a snowmobile trail. This being said, it makes for a nice flat snowshoe track for those willing to do the road walk. Of note, I am a snowmobiler and rode halfway down the herd path to the sugarloaf golf course for those interested in cutting the route. No tracks seen to Sugarloaf. One set of snowshoe tracks seen to South Crocker. No tracks to the Remington herd path that meets with CPR but plenty of snowmobile tracks up that herd path as far as I could see. |
