Parking is roadside on Frenchtown Rd about 10mi from Lily Bay Rd. No fees/checkpoints here. Road should be okay for all cars. |

The trail is signed and is marked with red diamonds. I don't recall the frequency, but I think it was regular and that the trail wasn't hard to follow even if it was lightly trodden (maybe some brushing back?). The trail headed north toward the Shaws was there but much more overgrown. I don't have any photos of blowdowns, but that doesn't mean there weren't any. |

1st hike of the day. The trail was lightly trodden and maybe a bit overgrown at times, but pleasatn, pretty easy/moderate, but no views. The trail did continue north toward the Shaws but was uch more overgrown and I'm not sure if it was blazed. Gaia had me at 3.4mi, 600ft of gain, 1hr23min. |
