Great day again! I didn't see a soul out there even if there were 2 cars parked at the gate.
The trail is dry until you reach the steep part up Blueberry mountain. There are some icy ledges that must be bypassed by going off trail. The ledges on Blueberry are mostly dried out. The snow becomes more present on the very last ledges before the upper intersection with Bickford Brook trail. There is some ice on the way up Speckled too but I didnt feel the need for spikes. Better have them just in case.
If you're looking for a remote hike (after the road closes) with a lot of rewarding views that might be this one! |
