Comments
Comments: Today was an absolutely perfect day for a traverse of Speckled and Bald Mountains! We started by ascending the Speckled Mountain Pasture Trail to Speckled Mountain. Then we went over Bald and around Little Concord Pond before ending on Redding Road. The trails are all in pretty good shape, and the views were outstanding today! The section of the Speckled Mountain Pasture Trail along the ridge to the summit of Speckled remains one of my favorite sections of trail around; the alternating sections of open ledge with views and mossy forest is super beautiful. We only ran into one other group of people on Bald Mountain and a few hunters while ascending Speckled.
