 | Comments: |
After following the old logging road to where it becomes overgrown things started to turn ugly. Blowdowns too numerous to count continually pushed us off the herd path into the woods. Eventually, we just whacked through the woods keeping close to the trace of the old logging roads. After reaching White Cape we worked our way over to the herd path leading to Kenebago Devide north Peak without issue on the old logging road with another bushwhack across the saddle. A few blowdowns to work around but not as bad as the way up. After summiting our second peak we retraced our steps back less than 0.2 miles where we headed east down 0.3 miles to another old logging road eventually joining our initial (up bound) track just below the major blowdowns. 8.5 miles |
