 | Comments: |
This afternoon, after the rain ended, we hiked Bear Mountain in Hartford from the northern approach. Similar to the traditional southern approach, the trail from the end of Bear Mountain Road follows a very eroded old roadbed. One interesting sight was a tiny cabin by the side of the trail where it leaves off onto the plateau. We enjoyed the summit views and cool weather. The overcast skies also make the foliage seem brighter! |
