Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: $20 day pass or $50 season pass for out-of-state residents to access BSP. No day-use fee for Maine residents. The road should be suitable for all cars. Just lots of potholes to be wary of. The gate opens at 6am for day-use. Long drive in to this trailhead. Makes sense to access this from the north unless you were already at Dwelley Ponds like me ;P The trailhead is a day-use site. Lots of grassy parking.

Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: It was blazed in blue. I don't recall frequency but not hard to follow though a bit more lightly trodden and seemingly a little overgrown at times than I was expecting. One mid-large widow maker above head height that I believe was in the flat middle section of the trail.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: No dogs allowed in BSP.
Bugs
Bugs: They were probably horrible.

Comments
Comments: 2nd hike of the day after a traverse of Dwelley Pond. This is a pretty easy hike to a small mountain in the northern section of BSP. The view window, unfortunately, is a bit narrow, and is beginning to become obscured by trees. Grade becomes steeper toward the summit but nothing too bad and I think the footing was relatively good. I don't recall much mud but I think it was wet from recent rain. Gaia had me at 2.6mi, 650ft of gain, 1hr10min.
