I followed the Mountain Pond Trail to the saddle and followed the ridge to Beaver Mtn's summit. Much of the lower half of the ridge was logging regrowth and that, coupled with the rain, made for slow going. Higher up, the woods opened up. I stayed below the ridge on the way back which avoided the logging regrowth, but I still found to moderately thick woods in places. |
