Comments
Comments: Drove the road beyond the Saddleback Maintenance building until it turned south, and then followed a much older logging road until I encountered too many blowdowns.

I followed the logging road for some time. Someone had bush hogged it which made movement very easy. Eventually, the logging road turned away from the peak, and I went more or less straight up through moderate woods. The summit area had some thick regrowth, but there was a moose path through almost all of it.
