Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: New bridge (at 0.1 miles) over the creek was needed badly. The marsh crossing to Bald Head has usual dampness in places but boots stayed dry. Only on a very high tide will this area have standing water as I recall
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: trails are clearly blazed and free of any obstructions
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Dogs not allowed on most of this property
Bugs
Bugs: Mosquitoes were terrible. Arrowsic and Georgetown mosquitoes are unique in their size and persistence. Always have been.

Comments
Comments: Nice walk in the woods along familiar trails. The spur to Squirrel Point Lighthouse has many roots but the payoff is fantastic. There was a nice breeze here that kept the mosquitoes at bay. The hike to Bald Head is very pleasant, flat trails, except the last 10th of a mile to the summit. Nice views down to the Back River.
