Warning: on the way in, we saw a logging truck lying on its side. Half way between the Success Tralhead and this. I believe the shoulder is weak. Also, watch for tru
cks.
Beautiful trail. A lot of water crossings in the beginning. Trail has a gentle elevation until you hit the middle, then steep for a while. A definite climb up the Mahoosuc to the summit. But nothing seemed difficult. Met Pumba and Notch and some section hikers
Checked out the campsite and shelter on the way down
