Wanted to try this because I wanted to go up the backside of baldpate, it had poured right before we left so it started buggy but the falls there are great. All types of varied conditions then we hit the AT and it was up to baldpates which are stunning from this side. I got a cell signal to check weather and it didn’t look good, red and yellow rain storms exposed on baldpate not good so we hustled and tagged east peak and headed back. Made it to baldpate trail and it opened up for heavy rain down a slippery trail. |
