Beautiful day for these peaks. An interesting hike along the boundary swath. Views for days as well as seeing countless moose hunting blinds. The canister on Monument was extremely tough remove the cap. The newer canisters are a huge improvement. Boundary Peak canister is still firmly attached to a tree which has broken at an angle. Heading back had a moose come out of nowhere and walked ahead of me for a half mile (sometimes far too close) as it kept doubling back until finally peeling off into the woods. 96/100 NEHH |
