Excellent day for checking out Snow Mountain as well as as Snow Mountain Pond. Took North Road 4.9 miles in beared left and parked just above atv trail on landing. Trail is marked by two large boulders. After checking out pond ascended a herdpath that crossed over the atv trail, this path was steep and had multiple blowdowns. The remaining ascent on herpath had an incredible amount of blowdowns many of which i removed but many remain. The path was still quite easy to follow. There is a nice viewpoint just before the summit. Tower at summit is standing strong and unique register is still intact and notebook has plenty of room. When descending i opted to reconnect to the atv trail to avoid the section just above the pond.95/100 NEHH |
