Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Success Pond Road had a few new shallow washouts, just take them slow..also usual potholes and rough spots..also some stretches of nice road..parking seems to be shrinking, with room for about 6 or so..

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant, Leaves - Significant/Slippery

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: 2 major ones early were rock hopped both ways..early, water was over a few rocks with wet boots a little..on way out water level down and easy to cross..a few small one up higher were step overs.. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: This was the annual Goose Eye volunteer trail work day with the Success Trail Adopter Larry..we removed about 15 blowdowns using saws and double pick up..cleaned many many drainages..removed many many small limbs and broken tree tops etc..looks like there's a new adopter and we wanted to help out!!

Bugs: Early none, after noon time they came out trying to fly in eyes and ears and nose etc..Larry had a bug net, he was prepared..black flie mainly..
