Comments
Comments: Only time for a short hike but wasn't going to miss out on today - best hiking trails of the season by far! Clear skies with great views. The winds were blowing pretty hard but the whole route is nicely sheltered. Took AT and upper section of table rock - Trails were in perfect condition - nicely packed out powder and perfect for snowshooes - the trails had seen a bit of traffic after the storm so only had to deal with a bit of minor drifting on Table Rock trail. The short steep pitch right below table rock was a bit slick from people sliding down. I opted to switch to my hillsounds for some traction and so I could kick in a few steps to make it easier to ascend. Top of table rock is pretty well clear of snow but some ice. Lower section of Table Rock trail hadn't seen any traffic since last storm.

AT heading up past upper table rock trail junction towards the Baldplates is also broken out and nicely packed. Didn't see anyone else today except some snowmobilers in the parking lot.
