Comments
Comments: Gotta say I’m very impressed with how well they maintain this trail, there is nothing blocking the trails and there are a few spots that they recently removed blowdowns. There is a spot where the river ice almost overtakes the trail.

Brought micros and snowshoes, snowshoes took a ride, did the loop clockwise so didn’t put micros on until doing downhill from south views. Trail has a great base from some consistent use of snowshoes, you could use bare boot for the entire loop it’s just tricky. Gotta say the ice flows and ice formations in the river are very impressive. Overall a very nice hike on a well maintained trail.
