Windy and cold right from the car door, the only place kind of out of the wind was the flat past hedgehog hill. Conditions were perfect for micros, snowshoes went for a ride. Part of the trail around 3400’ is not on the original so if things don’t look right that’s why, but you gotta go with the firm trail. Up top one wrong step and you’ll hit your mid points and have to crawl out. Temps were as cold as 3 with chill 15-20 below so we turned after west because of the exposure going to east. Also trail to lean to is packed out. |
