Comments
Comments: Trails where mostly frozen snow after the rain and then overnight freeze, with quite a bit of icy sections. There was only one posthole-y boot track on Kurt Diederichs Climb, then the Schiff Path to summit had seen a bit more traffic, but still a bit of a frozen mess. There was a boot track or two from Dorr to Cadillac that I was mostly able to follow. Upon return I crossed the street and headed up Champlain but hit an ice bulge about 400' up that completely took over the trail, so I turned back.

I stayed in microspikes the whole time, as I was able to mostly stand on top of frozen snow without breaking through if I stayed on the trail. I did have to descend carefully in sections and dodge some ice. Saw other person in full crampons which is understandable, although I believe he went up Ladder. I brought snowshoes, but they took a ride.
