Comments
Comments: Well you get some and you don’t. We set off to get North Brother with the hope of Fort. 3 weeks prior a crew broke it out. 2/3 someone made it to North Brother and South Brother. 2/7 a crew went for South brother and coe but got hung up at a blow down section at the junction where north brother goes left and the rest right. This is where we got hung up as well. There is an amazing solid base til this point as 4 of us went up and back it. The spruce traps that went to a minimum of a hip with extra fresh snow with the cold was a turn around factor for us. We broke trail the whole day from 6”-12” over the base from others. My back has never hurt so much on a hike (myself being the tallest in my group). So many crawling under trees or even just bending and hiking through incredibly low trees was insane. Been there in January, so February will be another year.
