Comments
Comments: Informative signage to keep you out of trouble with both the dead and the living. Good blazes, too. Thanks!

Thank you to the property owners for access. And to the town for the cemetery access. Thanks to Hastings Landing for the parking and the outhouse. And shame on whoever put a drink container in it!

Crossed the cemetery, entered a lovely woods with a variety of evergreens and mostly yellow leaves. Steep climb with helpful switchbacks gets you up to the ledges. With the leaves on the trail, the blazing is very helpful. After the ledges there is a non-blazed herd trail to the summit, which is marked by a cairn. No views there. Ledges have great views; the river and surrounding areas. Nice choice for a windy but sunny day. Checked out the cemetery on the way out, especially the veterans. So many Grand Army of the Republic (Civil War) veterans. Thank you for being on the right side of history!

Some gorgeous orange maples nearby.
