Burnt skies on Burnt Mountain… very hazy from wildfires…. Just a little preview of what’s to come. Views of the 4000 footers were ok, anything beyond was swallowed up from the haze. Saw a coyote on trail around the big pool that has a bypass trail around. It wasn’t paying much attention to me as it had its head down walking off trail into the woods. I guess what really surprised me is it was only about 15 yards from me. Trail was was easy to follow but very eroded in places. Footing can be challenging at times. |
