Comments
Comments: Posting this because this trail doesn't see a lot of updates. Nice trail most of the time. There's a quarter mile stretch on the North Brother Trail going up the summit cone that is absolutely awful. Eroded, wet, steep, with dead trees falling over it making it feel like a tunnel.

The only obstacle that needs attention sooner than later is the one mentioned in the trail maintenance section. I went around it on my way up and under it on my way down. Neither was good. Other than that the trail is pretty great.

Saw two other couples on their way up and that was it. Hiker registry indicated this trail doesn't get much use. I was completely in the clouds when I arrived at the summit, but I still saw some good views of Doubletop from lower vantage points.
