| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Success Pond road had about three tricky spots that my Subaru Outback just made it through. Road is almost entirely washed out at the trailhead. Trucks and Jeeps are likely fine. |

| Comments: |
Stayed the night at the tent site with only two other people. Saw about four people hiking up Saturday afternoon and nobody hiking out on Sunday. The trail is in great shape however I did get off trail onto a side trail for about five minutes on the descent. The view from the fire tower is one of the best in the northeast. |
