Albany Notch Trail(from the south), Albany Mountain Trail
I didn't bother with snowshoes. I had broken it out two days prior and there is only 3-4 inches of snow which is packed down pretty good. At the bottom of the trail I opted for the snowmobile trail which parallels the hiking trail for about a mile. No sign of snowmobile traffic yet but one four-wheeler had been through. Did a little bushwhacking near the summit and discovered another viewpoint. Great day in the Whites! |
