We spotted a car. On Hut Road you can drive to within a couple of tenths of a mile from the summer trailhead. We then drove around to the start of the Cold Brook Trail. Limited winter parking at both areas. |

Good hike for dogs although with super cold temperatures Madison stayed home. |

Nice red-lining hike with Cath. Great views from the ledges leading up to Speckled. Several inches of snow with a light crust on the top. Both trails on the bottom could use more signs and arrows. |
