Hiked 2.5 miles on Mount Blue Road that is a snowmobile trail in the winter. We snowshoed it but barefooted it back. Snowshoes for sure from Mt Blue trail trailhead up to Mount Blue. One person had been up before. Myself and friend packed the trail in more. Summit obscured in fog/clouds. Lots of rime ice up high. Snow went from sticky to not with elevation gain. Road hike portion kind of a drag but good exercise and trail up mountain a challenge. |
