 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
The dirt roads in were a bit icy but easily negotiabe. Beyond the ice, the roads were very easy going. The parking area has a very short access lane that was a little, snowy, muddy, and rough with one decent sized rock protruding. I managed with 6in clearance and AWD but I'd be careful. The parking area is small and only has room for a few cars, maybe a half dozen. The roads in were in fine shape I imagine they or at least the parking area/access lane could now be damaged due to all of the rain. |

Easy though it could be a different story now. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Tom's Path is marked with green circles with a white background tacked to trees. Ron's Loop was marked similarly but with blue circle instead. Orange Trail was marked with orange ski diamonds. The guidebook says that the Mountain Trail is blazed in blue but I do not recall. I don't remember any blowdowns. |

Third and final hike of the day. We ascended The Mountain Trail, did an OAB to Jewett Pond Hill (named on Gaia but not in the guidebook) along Tom's Path to a view that was beginning to get socked in, then continued to Mt Reho (named on Gaia but not in the guidebook) to two spurs, one of which is very obscure and only one of which is mentioned in the guidebook but not with a distance so is not technically needed for redlining (but both are shown on Gaia), then continued along Orange Trail to Ron's Loop where we hiked down the western end first, then did an OAB on the eastern end as we found it easier, then a short road walk of about 1/4mi back to the car.
The Mountain Trail was a bit steep, but this was otherwise a pretty gentle hike. I don't remember ground conditions terribly well but I think that there was some snow here and there but not too much ice to be careful of other than on some bog bridges. I believe there was some mud too. Gaia had us at 4.5mi, about 800ft of gain, and nearly 1hr45min. |
