Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Hawk Mountain Rd is plowed to the parking area (and so I’d assume the parking area is plowed year round) and then is not. Mid-sized parking area for maybe a dozen cars or so. We were the only ones there shortly past 2:30 and 3:30pm. The parking area is gravel but in very good shape with a little snow/ice mixed in.

Comments
Comments: Cyrus Trail, Eleazer Trail, right-of-way road

Third and final hike of the day with the CCC after Ladies Delight and finishing redlining the Amos Mtn area. We hiked the loop as described in the guidebook. More varied ground conditions here than the other ones we’d done this day with some bare rock, wet trail, one large puddle along the ridge, etc. We definitely watched our footing around ice at times but didn’t bother to put on spikes. We were in cloud so no views to be had, and, lucky for us, this was the only hike on which it rained on us. Gaia had us at about 1.7mi, 250ft of gain, 45min.
