Date of Hike: Sunday, December 10, 2023
Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Mid-sized dirt parking area. It was plowed. I would tend to think that it will continue to be plowed but who knows... one other car there when we arrived shortly past 10am that left as we arrived. Room for a couple more before you'd have to park strategically.

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: I don't recall any.

Trail Maintenance Notes: If I recall correctly, the trail was marked with blue diamonds with black arrows on them. I do not remember any blowdowns but I think there may have been small debris on the trail.

Dog-Related Notes: Sure
Bugs
Bugs: I think we noted just a few snowfleas on this or one of the other hikes we did this day.

Comments
Comments: First little Maine redline of the day with the CCC! The trail was more or less snow covered with just a couple inches of snow; less than I thought there'd be. Certainly not enough snow for snowshoes and we didn't think about using spikes either. The spur to the bench and cleared view was easy to find though we were unfortunately in the cloud.
