The trail doesn't appear to have had any traffic since Monday's storm. A couple ahead of me broke trail all the way to the summit (Thank you!). I simply smoothed things out a bit behind them. There was 6-8 in. of snow down low, 18 in. on summit ridge. Powder in the morning but it was beginning to soften by the end of the day. There were occasional exposed rocks up to about 3500 ft. but it was smooth sailing from there to the summit. The track is well packed for snowshoes but not suitable for bare booting at this time. |
