Parking/Access Road Notes: Big parking lot on Route 4 on Oquossoc, we were the only car on arrival and departure.

Surface Conditions: Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant

Water Crossing Notes: Bog bridges or stepover 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Counterclockwise loop from Route 4 parking lot. Went up main trails and down gravel tote/snowmobile road. Main trails well blazed in blue on the way up, most on trees, some on rocks. A couple of bog bridges broken but always one available when needed.

Dog-Related Notes: All good, they will get muddy right now, not much water.

Comments
Comments: Trails in good shape overall despite the rain this summer. Ledgy section before summit was dry-ish, good grip. Rest of the trails were mooshy mud, but ok.

Good views today, limited from summit, my hiking buddy went up the fire tower for the full view, I'm too chicken on those.

Looks like snow cap on Katahdin in the distance.

We didn't see anybody out this morning.
