Tumbledown east,west,north peak, Little Jackson mtn
Awesome 8.5 mile loop hike. Up Parker ridge to pond. Tumbledown ridge trail over East to West peak. Herd path over to north peak…. Easy to follow. Rock cairns down to col to goat path. Only ventured off goat path once but gaia put me right back on quickly. Steep going up to Little Jackson. Then down Little Jackson trail…. Ventured over to sub peak with weather stand on it. Then back down Little Jackson to vehicle. Great day, started early. On East peak by 7:30. 33mph winds with a windchill of 37.4 degrees from my anemometer. Chilly start |
