Comments
Comments: The two of us did a 4 day/3night backpack from the southern trailhead going in a counter-clockwise direction. Stayed at Stewart, East Baldpate and Bull Run campsites. Plenty of water at the sites though Stewart campsite will probably get minimal without future rains. The trails were pretty wet from the recent rains. Foot care was essential with our feet being constantly wet. Took a short detour off the GL trail hiking the Eyebrow trail to ascend the ledge in the Grafton Notch. If you like some height exposure and using cables and steel rungs to ascend the trail, this section is for you. Plenty of different micro environments along the way giving a view of the beauty on the northern New England mountains. If you want to challenge yourself, this rugged loop trail is for you.
