 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Roadside parking as the guidebook describes. Very easy to drive by but it’s shown on Gaia so no problem. The roads in are paved so this would presumably be accessible in winter although I don’t know if you’d be able to pull off to the side of the road which could be an issue. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Like the guidebook says, the trail is not blazed but is easy to follow. There was a little sign for the mountain set back in the woods a ways and a little plaque on a rock at its base but no real trailhead/sign. I don’t recall any blowdowns but that doesn’t mean there weren’t any! |

They were out in the morning but I don’t think they were all that terrible. That being said, this was a bad day to forget the bug spray! |

1st redline of the day. This is a short, pleasant hike. The trail is nice enough and not too steep or rough and the mountain offers some views, cool boulders, stone walls, etc. I was actually impressed by the lack of mud at the start of the trail but soon came some muddy spots higher up. Very kid and dog friendly. Note that there was a light blue blazed trail heading NW off the summit, presumably toward Grover Rd and I believe there was another (by the boulders and not blazed) path north off the summit, likely down to a point further down along Plummer Hill Rd. Gaia had me at 1.3mi, about 600ft of gain, 37min. |
