 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Long but pretty easy drive in. Very doable in mid-clearance. I don’t remember anything that would stop a low clearance car from getting in here either. The last 1.9mi along the last road had a little bit of a grassy centerline and was raised. I almost went down it last November when there was snow on the ground but it may have been a good thing I didn’t. |

 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Looking at the contour lines, it looks like I would’ve crossed two drainages but they must’ve be trivial as I don’t recall them. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The trail was blazed in blue and I believe it was blazed somewhat frequently. Pretty easy to follow but there are some parts that are overgrown and could’ve trimmed back. There’s a large duck under blowdown that’s been delimbed just 5-10min in if following the loop counterclockwise. Just a few minutes later, there’s another one that’s been delimbed that hangs over a bog bridge and is at an awkward height so makes it difficult to get under, especially with the boardwalk. Another blowdown about 10min from the other end of the trail |

 | Comments: |
2nd hike of the day after Number Nine Mtn on my first full day in Houlton. This was a pleasant enough trail with some little views. Very muddy in places but not as bad as some of the other places I’d been to recently. Grades were easy-moderate. Gaia had me at 3.75mi, 725ft of gain, 1.5hrs. |
