The parking lot of shagg pond road only had 2 cars when I arrived but when leaving was full. Good 8 cars can fit nicely in the lot. |

Rock hopping and no wet socks. |

The trail is in pretty good shape with minor mud in the first mile. |

Decent breeze today kept the bugs away. |

Hiked up to bald and did the loop and then down and up to Speckled Mountain, lots of exposed rock but a very fun hike with awesome views at both summits. On the way down I took the spur over to the Shagg Crag and saw some rock climbers killing it. Saved the loop around the Pond for another day as this hike became a new favorite of mine! |
