 | Comments: |
Today, I hiked Little Bigelow via the Safford Brook Trail. This route provides an alternative to the more popular route from the east, and provides direct access to viewpoints on the west side of the mountain. Unfortunately, the clouds prevented any views today, but it was still a nice hike. The trails are in good shape, but it's worth noting that the footbridge over Safford Brook on the Safford Brook Trail has washed away. However, with care it is possible to stay dry crossing just up or downstream of the former bridge site. |
