Byron Rd from the Weld side is completely impassable due to a road washout with significant debris that will take a chain saw to move. Byron Rd may be passable from the Coos Canyon side, but I didn't go that way. Of note, Byron Rd is clear to Morgan Rd (the former access rd). You may be able to drive on this road, but I didn't venture down it so I don't know what state it's in. I also don't know how well marked/ maintained the old trail is from Morgan Rd. |
