 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Roadside parking for a car or two. Keep an eye out for the road diverging left as it would be easy to miss. The gate was open on this day. Looking for the powerlines may help. The guidebook’s description was accurate. The road in is dirt but should be doable by any car. I was the only one there. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The trail does not have a trailhead and isn’t officially marked. Just the occasional arrow on the rock or flagging up high on the ledges. No blowdowns. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Most hiking dogs should be able to handle it; the ledge isn’t very steep. |

 | Bugs: |
I don’t recall them being too bad. |

1st hike of the day as I headed back from a few days redlining in Old Town. The road is flat or very gradual until you walk behind the blueberry fields and reach the ledge and it becomes steeper. That said, as far as ledge goes, it wasn’t very steep or scrambly. The ledge was also almost entirely dry although the road down low had some muddier and wet spots. Look for some black arrows and flagging if you’re redlining and note that you head toward the FIRST tower; do not bear left toward other, seemingly taller towers in the distance. I saw one other group of two up there who’d come up a different way. I believe there are other, more popular trails to the summit of this mountain. Wondering around the summit a little, Gaia had me at 2.4mi, 550ft of gain, 1hr8min. |
