Today's hike was just a quick and easy one up Mount Phillip in the Kennebec Highlands. I used the new trailhead for the first time since it was opened last year. The trail from the new trailheads adds about 0.4 mile each way of easy hiking. Phillip is a great short hike, and there are a few different viewpoints at the top, offering different perspectives. Although it's usually a very busy hike, I only saw a few other people out today. |
