It had been a while since I hiked Sugarloaf without snow on the ground, so I headed over to Dixfield for a short hike this afternoon. The trail is in excellent condition, and someone has recently put up new orange flagging tape along the trail. Sugarloaf was the perfect choice for today, and I had the mountain all to myself. I brought a book with me, and I spent a while reading and enjoying the summit views before heading back down. |
