A handful of early-bird black flies were noted in south slope forest. |

Sunny but windy day, only a handful of people on the main trail, and none on the return loop. Easy dry conditions throughout, all trails dry or slightly muddy, with just a few remnant patches of this snow in the woods along the ridge. |
