Comments
Comments: I took Eyebrow Trail thinking I would not be up this way again for awhile, and I think if Eyebrow was in NH, it might be on the Terrifying 25 list. The cable handrails and metal rungs were fun but I was glad there was no ice. Great views over the notch!
Everything spring has to offer was present today. Patchy ice, snow areas eventually give way to skinny to 2 ft wide monorail with varying degrees of snow on the sides. I put on spikes for the last 3rd and wore them down through the snow parts. I tried to stay high on the rail as it was firmer but slipped off the sides an many places. Very little ice in a few spots, avoidable. There are some post holes and I added a few more but the snowshoes went for a ride. Still some snow at the base of the tower. And a Canadian Jay.
