Albany Notch Trail (from the south)
I haven't hiked to Albany Mountain in winter conditions yet so I figured I would give it a try. I had limited time so I knew I wouldn't have time to reach the summit. Broke trail for 2.5 miles (6"-10" of snow) until I reached a large blowdown that I've been meaning to work on. I chopped away for 30 minutes and put a big dent in it before turning around and heading back for Thanksgiving Dinner. |
