Comments
Comments: The Cadillac South Ridge Trail was a mix of bare ground, ice, and frozen granular snow with a thin coating of fresh snow from the previous night. Canon Brook Trail was like a glacier for most of the way between Cadillac South Ridge and A. Murray Young Path; crampons would not be overkill here. Dorr South Ridge was a mix of black and blue ice and bare ground; the ice was easily spike-able. The Gorge Path heading down from Dorr's summit was very icy which, combined with the steep grade, made for some slow going. Going up to Cadillac on that same trail was far less sketchy, and even took half as much time despite being almost twice the length with twice the vertical.

Cold all day, but the cold air and clear sky made for some impressive viewing conditions. Not much wind either, even on the two summits. A challenging but rewarding hike for sure!
