Comments
Comments: First 3/4 of the trail was crusty post holes. After that it got smoother and in better shaped as the elevation increased. Started at 8AM, ended at 12PM. I was the only person hiking Old Speck in that time. Started in spikes but changed quickly to snowshoes to help get over the crusty postholes. Higher elevations had 2-3" fresh snow. Warm day and did the whole hike in a base layer and fleece.
