First snowy hike of the year! Today I hiked a loop on Little Mountain in Industry. I ascended via the gated road to Gordon Overlook, took the trail connecting Gordon Overlook to the summit of Little Mountain, and then descended on the trail/road through the clearcut back to Coffin Road. There were great views of the snow covered High Peaks from Gordon Overlook and the summit clearcut. This is a good hike to do this time of year when there aren't any leaves on the vegetation in the clearcut. |
